An Important
Message
from our Board
Dear Families and Students,
As we commence the 2024/2025 school year, we are inspired by our vision: to cultivate individual talents, offer selfless service, and immerse ourselves in study and application. In doing so, we aim to fulfill our divine missions and advance as virtuous servant leaders, mentors, and students, with hearts, minds, and strength dedicated to serving God, our families, and mankind.
A great deal of time, effort, and love has gone into organizing this year's TJLA class offerings, schedules, and activities. Collaborating as a board has deepened our appreciation for each of you and strengthened the bond within our community. Our goal is to meet the needs of our families and mentors while running our programs with excellence.
We are thrilled to work with you and support you throughout this school year.
With heartfelt enthusiasm,

Fee Changes
To cover the increase cost of renting a venue and an increase insurance cost, our registration fees need to be increased to $80 per student for the year, but for the Scholar's the fee has rise to $160 a semester. That's a $5 increase from last year per student and a $160 increase for Scholars. Students who are only participating this fall semester will be $80, except for Scholars, who are expected to pay for the second semester membership fee of $160 in January.

Registration fees and class fees will be collected all together from the families using Check or Cash on AUGUST 27TH. If fees are not paid at or before this meeting there will be a late fee assessed at $5 per class per week for which the fees that are not paid.
During this meeting the treasurer will take the cash fees and allocate monies based on enrollment rosters to the mentors to use for their classes. These fees will be given with a ledger for keeping track of expenses. At the end of the semester mentors will return an account for the use of their budget on the ledger to the treasurer. Any extra expenses can be requested from the treasurer till for the Spring semester. At the end of the semester if there are any extra funds for their class that did not get used they can be given back to the treasurer to be used for the Showcase Activity.
ESA
The ADE Empowerment Scholarship Award (ESA) program gives us an opportunity for our community families to have access to funds and use it for the education of our children. However, please be mindful of the new rules to include curricula for all your supplemental items that, until the law was changed, used to indicate "no documentation needed". We are honored and blessed to have families who continue to look to TJLA to support their educational needs. We are looking forward to this opportunity to further lift and raise all our students and families in their commitment to personally take part in homeschooling and educating their children with the ease of financial burden of paying for it. We will continue to adapt and change as we see needs arise and any improvements that can be implemented.
